Privacy policy

How Personal Trainer Danang collects, uses and protects your personal data, including your health information.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Personal Trainer Danang is a division of No BS Academy, operated by Precision Movement & Performance LLC. Jeff Shaverian runs the coaching and is responsible for how your personal data is handled. Sessions take place at My An Sport Center and other gyms in Da Nang, Vietnam.

2. What I collect

I only ask for what I need to answer you, keep you safe and coach you well.

• When you message me or book a free session: your name, contact details, your goal and the times that suit you.
• When you fill in the free trial form: the details above plus your age, sex at birth (optional), height and weight, occupation, your answers to the health screen, your training history, injuries and surgeries, sleep and stress, food preferences and allergies, the supplements you take, and, only if you choose to answer, whether you use performance-enhancing compounds. Also your goals, how you would like to be coached, your preferred gym, payment preference, the name of the client who referred you (if any) and any files you attach.
• During your training: records of your sessions, loads and reps, body measurements, and progress photos if you agree to them.
• Photos and videos for my website or social media: only with your written permission.
• When you message, email or call me: whatever you choose to send.

This website does not use its own analytics or advertising trackers, and it does not set its own cookies. The Google reviews shown on the home page are loaded by Elfsight, described below.

3. Your health information

Details about your health, injuries, medication, body measurements and use of performance-enhancing compounds are sensitive personal data. I collect them only to plan your training safely and track your progress, and only with your consent. You give that consent by ticking the consent box on the free trial form, and a record of your consent is kept with your form. If you share health details by message or in person, I treat them the same way. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

The questions about supplements and performance-enhancing compounds are optional. Leave them blank if you prefer.

4. How I use your data

• To reply to you, book your sessions and send reminders
• To check that training is safe for you, and to tell you if you should see a doctor first
• To write your program and meal plan, and to track your progress
• To register your My An Sport Center membership when your block includes one
• To take payment and keep the business records the law requires

I do not sell your data, and I do not use your health information for marketing.

5. Who I share it with

A few trusted services help run this website and the coaching. Each one only receives what it needs:

• Google Workspace runs my email and stores the forms you send through this website, and any files you attach, in a private Google Sheet and Google Drive folder in my account.
• WhatsApp, run by Meta, carries the messages you send me there.
• My An Sport Center receives your name and the contact details it needs to register your membership, when your block includes one. It does not receive your health information.
• Meal Prep Da Nang receives your details and meal plan targets only if you ask me to arrange meal delivery.
• Cloudflare hosts this website. Like any web host, it processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site.
• Google Fonts serves the fonts on this site, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
• Bunny Stream (bunny.net) plays the video on the home page.
• Elfsight shows Google reviews on the home page. When that part of the page loads, Elfsight receives technical data such as your IP address and browser type, and may use cookies or similar storage under its own privacy policy.
• Google Maps opens when you tap a directions link.
• Payment providers (your bank, card or QR payment app, Wise or a crypto wallet) process your payment when you pay.

Some of these services store data on servers outside Vietnam, for example in the United States or Europe. If you use the No BS Academy app, its own privacy policy applies there.

I share your information with a doctor or another health professional only with your permission, except in an emergency where your life or health is at risk, or when the law requires it.

6. How long I keep it

I keep your information only for as long as I need it to coach you and to meet my legal, tax and record-keeping duties. After that, I delete it securely. If you send a form but never train with me, I delete it once it is no longer needed.

7. How I protect it

Forms are sent over an encrypted connection and saved in my password-protected Google account. Your information is kept on password-protected accounts and devices, and only people who need it to handle your training or booking can see it. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so please share only what you are comfortable sending online.

8. Your rights

You can ask me to:

• Tell you what personal data I hold about you and how I use it
• Give you a copy of it
• Correct or update anything that is wrong or out of date
• Delete it, unless I have to keep it by law
• Stop or limit how I use it
• Withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

To use any of these rights, email jeff@nobsacademy.com. I will reply as soon as I can, and within the time the law allows. If you are not happy with my answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in Vietnam.

9. Children

My coaching is for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact me and fill in the forms with you.

10. Changes to this policy

If I change how I handle your data, I will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, I will tell current clients directly.
