Lose fat, keep the muscle
One-on-one strength coaching and a meal plan you can stick to. We lift to keep your muscle, eat to lose fat, and check the numbers every week.
Fat loss is not complicated, but it is hard to do alone. You need to eat a little less than you burn, for long enough, without losing the muscle that keeps you strong and shapes how you look. Most people get the first part half right and the second part wrong. They cut food hard, add hours of cardio, lose muscle along with the fat, and end up smaller, softer and hungry.
I coach it the other way around. We lift, you eat enough protein, and we cut calories only as far as you can keep it up. The scale may move a little slower at the start, and more of what you lose is fat.
Every client starts with a movement screen in the free first session. If your squat, hip hinge or overhead reach has a limit, we work around it and improve it while you train. Getting hurt in week three is the fastest way to stall a fat loss plan, so I would rather you lift a little lighter with clean technique than chase numbers you cannot hold.
You do not need to give up rice, phở or a night out. You need a plan that tells you roughly how much to eat and how much protein to aim for, and a coach who adjusts it when life gets in the way. If you would rather not cook, Meal Prep Da Nang delivers meals portioned to your plan, with a discount for my clients.
Sessions cost from 600,000 VND each on a 12 week Peak block, 700,000 VND on a 4 week Foundation block, and 800,000 VND as a single session. Every block includes your written program, your meal plan and a free gym membership at My An Sport Center for the length of the block. See the full personal training prices.
Eight and twelve week blocks also come with a progress guarantee: do your part, and if the numbers do not move by the 80% check, I coach you for up to four extra weeks, free. It is extra coaching, not a cash refund, and it does not promise a particular weight.
I will not promise a number. How fast you lose fat depends on where you start, how consistently you train and how closely you follow the meal plan. What I can tell you is that we measure every week, and if the trend stalls, we change the plan.
No. Daily walking helps, and I may add some conditioning depending on your goal and schedule, but strength training and food do most of the work. Hours on a treadmill are not part of the plan.
Eight or twelve weeks. Four weeks is enough to learn the lifts and build the habit, but body changes take longer to show. After your free session I will tell you which block and how many sessions a week fit your goal.
Usually, yes. Tell me about it in the free trial form and we look at it in the movement screen. Read more about training around old injuries.
